At Ascent Partners, our story began with change, the kind that forces you to rethink what comes next.

After more than two decades each in federal service,  we found themselves at an unexpected crossroads following a federal government layoff. What could have been viewed as an ending became the beginning of something even more meaningful: a shared vision to continue doing the work we loved most; helping people grow, thrive, and lead with purpose.

Throughout our careers, we served mission-driven organizations where health scientists, administrators, and leaders carried out work that impacted communities and lives every day. Behind the scenes, we became known as the people who helped things move forward. The strategists, coaches, facilitators, and trusted partners who created the conditions where talent emerged and teams succeed.

Our combined experience spans leadership coaching, workforce development, HR strategy, organizational planning, employee engagement, training, and inclusive talent development. Beyond the titles and responsibilities, we shared something deeper: a passion for bringing out the best in people.

We saw firsthand what happens when organizations invest in human potential. We witnessed teams become stronger through inclusion, leaders grow through intentional development, and workplaces transform when employees feel seen, valued, and empowered to contribute.

That common purpose became the foundation of Ascent Partners.

The name reflects who we are and what we believe. “Ascent” represents growth, elevation, and forward movement. “Partners” reflects our commitment to walking alongside organizations, leaders, and teams as they navigate change, build culture, and reach new heights together.

We believe human development is never static. There is always another growth opportunity, collaboration, and impact waiting to be achieved. Our mission is to help organizations ascend intentionally, inclusively, and strategically.
